Advocacy

OHA will lead advocacy efforts for Ohio hospitals and health systems by developing a well-organized, efficient and transparent advocacy platform.

OHA's advocacy team is committed to working with elected leaders, government officials, policymakers, community leaders, organizations, and other key stakeholders to promote and support hospitals and health care. By working with the OHA membership and allied organizations, the Advocacy team is ensuring that hospitals are appropriately represented with government and public health care topics.

Hospitals are among the most regulated industries in Ohio and every day new proposals (legislation, reforms) are introducted impacting health care. OHA's Strategic Advocacy Agenda helps direct staff and resources to address various topics and issues impacting Ohio hospitals.
