HEALTH CARE REGULATION AND REFORM
OHA’s advocacy philosophy on health care regulation is to oppose policies that increase costs for hospitals without providing measurable improvements in hospital efficiency or patient outcomes and to fight regulatory barriers that may hinder care coordination efforts and hospitals’ ability to vertically integrate with providers to ensure the highest quality, most efficient care possible.
HEALTH CARE SAFETY AND QUALITY
OHA’s advocacy philosophy on quality and patient safety is to support hospitals’ efforts to improve health care quality and patient safety that add value to the patient and are proven to improve quality and patient safety.
