Through conferences, seminars, webinars and other special studies, OHA gives members the education and information necessary to improve their performance.

2019 Call for Presentations

The Ohio Hospital Association is seeking dynamic and engaging presentations to educate health care professionals and motivate the pursuit of excellence for the 2019 OHA Annual Meeting June 3-5 in Columbus. Representatives from member hospitals and health systems, related organizations and OHA Corporate Partners are invited to complete the 2019 Call for Presentations by Dec. 14.

The annual meeting is a premier gathering of Ohio hospital and health system leaders and provides an ideal opportunity for member hospitals and health systems to influence their peers by sharing critical research findings, innovations and best practices.
Presentation proposals should be designed for a 55-minute time slot and can be submitted on any topic, but several program tracks generally emerge. Examples of past tracks include Ohio’s opioid crisis, health care reform, compliance, data and technology, patient experience, health and wellness, risk management, quality and patient safety, physician leadership, and more.
The selection committee is interested in proposals that offer unique learning objectives and strategies, new or different solutions, collaboration, skill building, research findings and/or new methods of practice. Preference will be given to proposals that involve a member hospital partner or corporate partner, but that is not the sole determining factor in selection. Proposals will be accepted from now through Dec. 14. Selected presenters will be notified by March 2019.
