Part 1 of this 4-part series will discuss leveraging remote patient monitoring to combat COVID-19. Learning Objectives Describe the need for novel approaches to patient care to address shifting healthcare needs. Identify at least two (2) interventions which specifically reduce post-operative respiratory failure in the acute care setting. Describe the development, evolution, and successes of the University Hospitals COVID-19 Intercept Strategy, which served as a model for the State of Ohio and created meaningful and lasting collaborative relationships between health systems, public health, governmental agencies, and congregate care settings/facilities.
