27 Aug Webinar: Quality-Based Payment Reform Finance 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Medicare 101 Series Part 2 of this 3-part series will focus on Medicare’s quality-based payment reform. The Affordable Care Act called for the implementation of a quality-driven payment system for the Medicare inpatient program. Hospitals have seen their reimbursement impacted by the value-based payment program, Readmissions Reduction program and payment implications of hospital-acquired conditions. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has expanded quality-based payment reforms across other payment systems—outpatient, physician, skilled nursing, inpatient rehab and home health.
