2018 Eagle Award Recipient - Danny McCloud

The Ohio Society for Health Care Facilities Management presented Danny McCloud, director of Facilities Management at Kettering Medical Center, the 2018 Eagle Award.

Due to McCloud’s instrumental work, Kettering Health Network has received over $1 million in energy efficiency rebates. Collecting energy efficiency rebates is a collective project across all network facilities, and McCloud’s leadership was paramount in the entire network’s efficiency initiatives that save nearly 10 million kWh annually. McCloud also recently led a project designed to reduce the risk of legionella, carefully coordinating shutdown of Kettering Medical Center’s entire water supply. He ran the project and carefully coordinated with the administration and planning team.

According to his peers and supervisors at Kettering Medical Center, McCloud is recognized as “the absolute best at what he does for the organization, every task he is given, and in the guidance that he gives.”
