Purpose & Objectives The purpose of the Society of Ohio Health Care Attorneys is to advance the field of law by: Providing a forum for the exchange of information among attorneys serving Ohio hospitals Presenting relevant educational programs Monitoring emerging legal issues and developing case law pertaining to Ohio healthcare
Membership Eligibility & Application To qualify as an active SOHA member, one must be: An attorney employed by, serving as a board member of, or routinely retained as counsel for an OHA member hospital or health system; or An attorney whose law firm represents Ohio hospitals on a regular basis. To join SOHA, complete the society membership application online.* NOTE: Log in to the OHA website is required before completing the application. If you do not have an existing OHA login, click on "Register for an Account" to create one. Membership in SOHA is effective upon formal application and approval of OHA.
