The Society for Ohio Health Care Attorneys, or SOHA, advances health care law by providing a forum for the exchange of information among attorneys serving health care providers. This community also provides a wealth of relevant educational programs, and closely monitors emerging legal issues and developing case law pertaining to Ohio health care.

Message from SOHA's President

Purpose & Objectives

The purpose of the Society of Ohio Health Care Attorneys is to advance the field of law by:

  • Providing a forum for the exchange of information among attorneys serving Ohio hospitals
  • Presenting relevant educational programs
  • Monitoring emerging legal issues and developing case law pertaining to Ohio healthcare

 

Membership Eligibility

To qualify as an active SOHA member, one must be:
  • An attorney employed by, serving as a board member of, or routinely retained as counsel for an OHA member hospital or health system; or
  • An attorney whose law firm represents Ohio hospitals on a regular basis.  
Complete the SOHA membership application

Membership in SOHA is effective upon formal application and approval of OHA.
