AHA Health Equity Award Application Now Open

The Carolyn Boone Lewis Equity of Care Award is an annual recognition of outstanding efforts among hospitals and health care systems to advance equity of care to all patients and to spread lessons learned and progress toward diversity, inclusion and health equity. The Equity of Care Award is named after Carolyn Boone Lewis, the first African American trustee to chair the AHA board and a determined advocate for health equity and justice. The application for the 2024 Equity of Care Awards is now open and will close on Nov. 17. Learn more about the award and application process here.
