Application Deadline Approaching for Electric Vehicle Charging Station Grants

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency is accepting applications through Sept. 30 for $3.25 million in grants for publicly accessible electric vehicle charging stations. Eligible applicants include public or private entities in the 26 counties that Ohio EPA has identified as eligible to receive funds from the grant program.

Hospitals are eligible to apply for the grants, which offer $7,500 per charging port, or up to 80% of eligible costs. Charging stations must be available to the public.

OHA corporate partner EV United is offering a complimentary site assessment and consultation for OHA members considering an application. Schedule a consultation here. For addition information, contact Nolan Rutschilling, director of OHA’s Energy & Sustainability Program, for more details.
