The Columbus Foundation offers over 300 scholarships. This year there are five available scholarships for nursing students. Scholarships include:

• W.A. and Margaret E. Buehler Scholarship: The scholarship was established by the Buehler family to assist students who have graduated from a high school in Franklin County to pursue a nursing degree.
• Carol Jenkins Nursing Scholarship: The scholarship was established to support nurses with an RN who seek to further their education and deepen their knowledge of the profession.
• Marr/Griesbeck Scholarship: The scholarship provides financial assistance to a student pursuing a B.S. or A.D. in Nursing at a Franklin County, Ohio college or school of nursing.
• Jane Tschappat Nursing Advancement Scholarship: The scholarship’s goal is to support practicing nurses as they continue their education and navigate the difficult and changing health care system.
• MODNA Undergraduate Nursing Scholarship: The Mid-Ohio District Nurses Association established this fund to honor MODNA members’ leadership in mentoring, education, volunteerism, and advocacy on public health issues that drive commitment to the nursing profession. The application is available at http://www.modna.org. The deadline is Feb.17.
