CDC Confirms Over 2,000 Cases of Vaping-Related Lung Injury

The Centers for Disease Control and Preventions on Nov. 7 announced there are 2,051 confirmed and probable lung injury cases asociated with the use of e-cigarette, or vaping products in 49 states, with 39 deaths confirmed in 24 states.

As of Nov. 7, state and local public health officials in Ohio have confirmed 52 cases of vaping-related severe pulmonary illness.

Cases have been reported in these Ohio counties: Brown, Butler (2), Cuyahoga (10), Fairfield, Franklin (8), Greene, Hamilton (2), Jefferson, Lucas, Mahoning, Medina (2), Miami (2), Montgomery (2), Portage (2), Richland (2), Seneca (2), Summit (6), Tuscarawas, Union (2), Warren, and Wayne (2)
