Gov. DeWine Expands Telehealth Coverage; Recommends Employee Screening

Gov. Mike DeWine at yesterday’s COVID-19 briefing announced an executive order that will expand access to medical and behavioral health services using telehealth. Patients don’t need to have an existing relationship with a health care professional to utilize these services.

The governor strongly recommends that all employers screen employees and check temperatures daily to help protect against the spread of COVID-19. Supplemental information and guidance were issued late yesterday. OHA will post the final rules as soon as they are available.
