Hear Her Campaign to Support Healthy Pregnancies, Deliveries

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention this week launched the Hear Her campaign. The campaign is designed to support the CDC’s efforts to prevent pregnancy-related deaths by sharing life-saving messages about urgent warning signs.

According to the CDC, over 700 women die each year in the U.S. from pregnancy or delivery complications.

The campaign includes information for expecting and postpartum mothers, partners, family members and health care providers. Health care providers play a critical role in eliminating preventable maternal mortality and can help patients understand the urgent maternal warning signs.
