OHA 106th Annual Meeting & Education Summit to Feature Member CEOs, Author During Keynote Addresses

OHA’s is launching our 2021 Annual Meeting as a robust and convenient virtual event accessible by all staff and trustees of member hospitals, and OHA corporate partners June 7-8. OHA is excited to feature two keynote addresses at 8:30 a.m. each day that discuss themes of resiliency and collaboration.

Cliff A. Megerian, MD, CEO of University Hospitals Health System and Tom Mihaljevic, MD, CEO and president of Cleveland Clinic, will be featured June 7 and will talk about how their health care systems set aside their competitive natures to collaborate on efforts to improve the wellbeing of the communities they serve, including battling the opioid epidemic, expanding research, improving talent recruitment and bolstering training.

The second keynote address set for June 8 will feature author, Jim Davison where he distills compelling stories and uplifting lessons about how to overcome change, challenge and uncertainty through resilience. While first attempting to ascend Mt. Everest in 2015, Jim and his partners survived massive earthquakes and avalanches. In 2017, Jim returned to Mount Everest and summited successfully.
