OHA Member Recognized by NEOMED

Muhammad Momen, MD, medical director of the inpatient behavioral health units at Mercy Health – St. Elizabeth’s Youngstown Hospital was recognized by NeoMed for his superior contribution to the medical students psychiatric clinical training. He received the NEOMED Clinical Teaching Award and was presented with the plaque by Dr. Ronald Rhodes, the Education Director for Mercy Health – St. Elizabeth’s Hospital – Youngstown that was provided by NeoMed for his achievement. Dr. Momen is quick to share his success with his team which includes Lori Dellick, PMHNP – Lead CNP and Nicole Lewis, PMHNP and the staff in the Behavioral Health Units. Dr. Momen and his team provide one on one education related to clinical assessments and evaluations of mental health patients. The students have complimented the team for their superior high quality clinical knowledge and time they spend with the students. As a result of this high quality education, several students in the past year have identified psychiatry as a specialty they would like to pursue.
