OHA Welcomes New Vice President of Clinical Leadership Affairs

Janet Bay, MD, this month joined OHA as vice president of Clinical Leadership Affairs. Bay, a pioneer in her field, was the 13th woman in the nation to become a neurosurgeon when she became board certified in 1980. She comes to OHA from OhioHealth, where she was vice president of Neuroscience.

Prior to her work at the system level with OhioHealth, she was the first female medical staff president at Riverside Methodist Hospital, chair of the Neuroscience Clinical Operations Council and physician lead for the neuroscience clinical program.

Bay’s work at OHA involves convening physician leaders from our membership to discuss the emerging issues they are facing and to foster statewide collaboration to address those challenges.
