Ohio's TechCred program offers employers, including hospitals, up to $2,000 in reimbursement for every technology-focused credential earned by an employee, up to $30,000 per employer per application period. The current TechCred application period will close on July 31.
Through TechCred, businesses can prepare their workers with the skills needed to advance in a technology-infused economy. In partnership with a training provider, hospitals and businesses can apply online at TechCred.Ohio.Gov.
Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted this week announced the results of the May round of TechCred, in which 367 employers were approved for funding, providing the opportunity for Ohioans to earn 4,297 tech-focused credentials. This most recent round marks the 20th application period of the program.
