Submit 2019 OHA Quality Summit Poster by the End of April

Each year at the OHA Annual Meeting, member hospitals are invited to showcase their efforts around quality improvement and patient safety during the Quality Summit by submitting proposals for presentations by April 30. Individual presenters can qualify for continuing education credits. 

There will be three sessions for attendees to visit posters during the summit, to be held June 5. We invite posters that reflect quality improvement and patient safety efforts in a variety of topic areas, including:

Zero Harm
  • Culture of safety
  • Patient safety
  • Sepsis mortality reduction
  • Health care worker safety
  • Reducing harm
  • Airway safety
Disparities
  • Person and family engagement
  • Improving the patient experience
  • Preventing infant mortality
High Reliability          
  • General quality improvement processes
  • Reducing readmissions
  • Antimicrobial stewardship
  • Iatrogenic delirium
  • Failure to rescue
Leadership and Sustainability
  • Sustainability
  • Leadership/executive sponsorship
 
Please note: Only two people may present, per poster. Posters will be available for viewing June 5 and must be at the table at designated times during conference.

Approved continuing education contact hours are available to all participants who attend. All poster presenters need to register for the conference. Registration will open early March on OHA’s website.

All potential presenters will be notified via email by May 3 if their posters have been selected.

Poster abstract information form and signed biographical data form.
