Vaccine Communications Tools Available in Several Languages for OHA Members

A series of communications tools have been released for hospitals to use in encouraging health care workers to get the COVID-19 vaccine. The latest round of tools from the Ohio Department of Health include materials in Spanish, Somali and Nepali languages. Click here for the ODH recap and links to materials.

OHA is aggregating the tools on our website,, as more become available. The American Hospital Association and the Ad Council have teamed up to develop a "My Why" campaign including three social media friendly videos expected in the next few days. The videos feature nurse-to-nurse, physician-to-physician and allied health professional-to-professional conversations on why they chose to get the vaccine.

The AHA campaign is unbranded and can be adapted by any hospital. A second series of tools will be coming the first weeks of January aimed at the consumer audiences. The CDC provided a comprehensive messaging matrix for health care providers to use with staff.
