Effective Tuesday, Sept. 1, Timothy A. Buit now serves as the new president and chief executive officer of The Bellevue Hospital (TBH), according to Thomas P. Barth, chairman of The Bellevue Hospital’s Board of Trustees. Buit takes the hospital’s top post following the official retirement on Aug. 31 of Michael K. July 2020

University Hospitals is moving to consolidate birthing services and heart surgeries at two of its hospitals in Cleveland’s western suburbs. Birthing services will no longer be offered at UH Elyria. Babies will instead be delivered at UH St. John in Westlake, the health system said in a news release. 7.27.20 Read more

Groundbreaking for the Genesis Healthcare System Orthopedic Center will take place in the fall with the facility expected to open in 2021. APG Architects in Zanesville designed the new center, and most of the construction will be done by local contractors when feasible. 7.27.20 Read more

The Magruder Hospital Board of Trustees is announcing that Todd Almendinger will be stepping down as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Magruder Hospital at the end of September 2020.
