OHA’s Albert E. Dyckes Health Care Worker of the Year Award honors the excellence of front-line health care workers and is presented each year to one Ohio caregiver from one of our member hospitals who routinely goes beyond the call of duty, daily reflects the mission and values of their organization, and notably gives back to the community.

2025 Health Care Worker of the Year 

Nominations are closed for the 2025 Albert E. Dyckes Health Care Worker of the Year. Thank you to the OHA member hospitals that honored their staff members with nominations.

The award will be presented May 20 at OHA’s 110th Annual Meeting & Education Summit at the Hyatt Regency Columbus.

About the Award

Each member hospital is invited to nominate one individual who has not been nominated previously by that organization. Health systems are encouraged to submit nominations on behalf of each of their member hospitals or select one nominee to represent the entire health system.

A panel of outside reviewers rates each nomination based on the narrative provided for each nominee.
