Members are encouraged to engage local elected officials on issues impacting your organizations and their contribution to improving local health outcomes. OHA’s Advocacy team is ready  to assist with all aspects of legislator engagement.

Federal Advocacy

The Ohio congressional delegation plays a critical role in developing federal policies affecting Ohio hospitals and health systems, their patients and communities. OHA works in partnership with the American Hospital Association to assure the Ohio hospitals’ priorities are represented on Capitol Hill. Ohio’s congressional map is in effect until 2026.
