Physician Recruiters — ONPR
The Ohio Network of Physician Recruiters, or ONPR, promotes professional interests and cooperative action among hospital physician recruiters and physician service professionals. Objectives include the exchange of recruitment and retention information and ideas, and the development and promotion of targeted educational programs.
NOTE: The 2024 ONPR Annual Conference Has Been Cancelled
OHA and the ONPR Board have together decided to cancel the in-person 2024 ONPR Annual Conference scheduled for Sept. 5. There are a multitude of factors that led to this, and all were thoroughly considered before reaching this decision. The ONPR Board remains dedicated to fostering the growth and development of this society and look forward to opportunities to come together in the future.
As the ONPR Board is committed to bringing this content forward, stay tuned for details surrounding the new dates and times for virtual webinars featuring the educational sessions planned for the conference.

Purpose & Objective
The purpose of ONPR shall be to promote professional interests and cooperative action among hospital physician recruiters/physician service professionals in Ohio. Toward the achievement of this purpose, ONPR has the following objectives:

Providing for the exchange of physician recruitment and retention information, techniques and ideas

Communicating among persons engaged in hospital physician recruitment/retention activities

Assisting in the development and continuing improvement of physician recruitment/retention programs by encouraging and assisting individual members of the ONPR to develop their knowledge and to increase their competence in the field of physician recruitment/retention

Developing and promoting educational programs

Making itself, through its officers and members, available to assist and advise the Ohio Hospital Association and its member organizations
Member Eligibility
ONPR membership is open to individuals who have a significant portion of their time dedicated to medical staff development, specific to areas of recruitment and retention, and who are employed by an OHA member hospital, OHA corporate partner, hospital system, clinic, physician practice or managed care organization in the state of Ohio.
To join ONPR, complete the society membership application.

Membership in ONPR is effective upon formal application and approval of OHA.
