The Ohio Society for Health Care Facilities Management’s Eagle Award recognizes a facility manager or staff member who has demonstrated outstanding performance, leadership, unique service or significant contributions in energy efficiency, health care facilities management, plant engineering, design/construction, security, safety, clinical engineering and/or telecommunications.

Eligibility

• Must be a current member of OSHFM
• Must be actively employed in a position with primary responsibility related to the profession of health care facilities management, plant engineering, design/construction, security, safety, clinical engineering and/or telecommunications
• Must be nominated by an OSHFM member in good standing

Selection Process and Award Presentation 

Nominations are reviewed by OHA/OSHFM staff for completeness. Evaluations are conducted by the OSHFM Scholarship/Awards Committee. Decisions made by the committee are final pending approval by the OSHFM Board.

Eagle Award recipients receive a $500 cash prize and a commemorative eagle award presented by the OSHFM Board president during the opening session of the annual OSHFM Fall Conference.
