Hospital Leaders Elected to OHA Board of Trustees, Fulton County Health Center CEO to Serve as Chair in 2024
Columbus, Ohio – 43215 (Dec. 18, 2023) – The Ohio Hospital Association, the united voice of Ohio’s 248 hospitals and 15 health systems, announces new officers and welcomes new members to its Board of Trustees for 2024.
Patricia “Patti” Finn, MBA, CEO, Fulton County Health Center (Wauseon) was elected chair of the board beginning Jan. 1, 2024. T. Clifford “Cliff” Deveny, MD, president and CEO, Summa Health (Akron) will be chair-elect and David Phillips, MBA, president and CEO, WVU Medicine – Barnesville Hospital (Barnesville) and WVU Medicine-Harrison Community Hospital (Cadiz) will serve as secretary/treasurer. Michael Canady, MBA, FACHE, MD, chief executive officer, Holzer Health System (Gallipolis) will serve as immediate past chair. Board officers serve one-year terms.

New trustees-at-large elected by the OHA membership for three-year terms beginning Jan. 1 include Mike Riordan, president and CEO, Premier Health (Dayton) and Airica Steed, Ed.D., MBA, RN, FACHE, president and CEO, MetroHealth (Cleveland).
Trustees-at-large re-elected to new three-year terms include Jeffrey Graham, MBA, president and CEO, Adena Health (Chillicothe), Matthew Grimshaw, MBA, president and CEO, Trinity Health Systems (Steubenville); Lisa Klenke, MBA, RN, CEO, Mercer Health (Coldwater), Stephen Markovich, MD, MBA, president and CEO, OhioHealth (Columbus).
Returning trustees for 2024 include:

- Matthew Perry, president and CEO, Genesis HealthCare System (Zanesville)
The OHA Board sets policy and strategic direction for matters affecting hospitals throughout Ohio. The board includes representatives from small and large hospitals, urban and rural hospitals, teaching facilities and independent facilities and health care systems.
Patricia (Patti) Finn currently serves as CEO of Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon, Ohio. Fulton County Health Center is a Critical Access Hospital and a long-term care facility, Fulton Manor and Rehabilitation Center. Finn also serves as the President and Chief Executive Office of FCHC Medical Care, LLC and FCHC Pharm, both entities of the Fulton County Health Center parent company. Finn began her healthcare career with Fulton County Health Center in 1983. Finn has held various positions and led many departments across both the clinical and operational side of the facility including quality, risk, health information and assistant administrator before being named the CEO in September 2012.
Finn joined the OHA Board of Trustees in 2016 and has served on the board’s executive committee, nominating committee and is a past chair of OHA’s Small and Rural Committee. She also serves on both the Fulton County Economic Development Committee and Triangular Processing as a board member. Finn has an MBA with an emphasis in health administration from Bowling Green State University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Record Administration from Bowling Green State University.
