OHA Announces 2025 Board Officers, New Trustees
The Ohio Hospital Association, the united voice of Ohio’s 250 hospitals and 15 health systems, announces new officers and welcomes new members to its Board of Trustees for 2025.
T. Clifford “Cliff” Deveny, MD, president and CEO, Summa Health (Akron) will serve as chair of the board beginning Jan. 1, 2025. Stephen Markovich, MD, MBA, president and CEO, OhioHealth (Columbus) will be chair-elect and Ben Gill, MBA, president and CEO, Southern Ohio Medical Center (Portsmouth) will serve as secretary/treasurer. Patricia “Patti” Finn, MBA, CEO, Fulton County Health Center (Wauseon) will serve as immediate past chair. Board officers serve one-year terms.
“Ohio hospitals face important challenges including workforce development, rising costs and service delivery transformation,” said Mike Abrams, OHA president and CEO. “We appreciate the leadership and support of our board to guide our strategy that ensures we are fulfilling our mission to collaborate with member hospitals and health systems to promote a sustainable health care system so that Ohioans have access to high quality hospital care in their communities. We appreciate Cliff’s leadership and the work of our board as we advance our advocacy and policy priorities for 2025.”
Three new trustees will be joining the board effective Jan. 1, including Jorge Guzman, MD, MBA, Executive Vice President and President of Northeast Ohio Market, Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland); Debbie Hayes, president and CEO, The Christ Hospital Health Network (Cincinnati); and Tim Robinson, CEO, Nationwide Children’s Hospital (Columbus).
Returning trustees for 2025 include:

- Jeffrey Graham, MBA, President and CEO, Adena Health (Chillicothe)
- Anita Hackstedde, MD, President and CEO, Salem Regional Medical Center (Salem)
- John “Jack” Janoso Jr., MBA, President and CEO, Fairfield Medical Center (Lancaster)
- Lisa Klenke, MBA, RN, CEO, Mercer Health (Coldwater)
- Don Kline, MBA, COO, Bon Secours Mercy Health (Cincinnati)
- Cliff Megerian, MD, FACS, CEO, University Hospitals (Cleveland)
- Matthew Perry, President and CEO, Genesis HealthCare System (Zanesville)
- Mike Riordan, President and CEO, Premier Health (Dayton)
- John Warner, MD, CEO, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Executive Vice President at The Ohio State University (Columbus)
The OHA Board sets policy and strategic direction for matters affecting hospitals throughout Ohio. The board includes representatives from small and large hospitals, urban and rural hospitals, teaching facilities and independent facilities and health care systems.
